Malachite has been prized since ancient Egypt, where it was worn as both ornament and protective talisman by royalty and travellers alike.
Formed through the weathering of copper deposits over thousands of years, its unmistakable green bands have been found in the mines of the Congo, Russia, and Namibia for centuries. Known as a stone of transformation and protection, Malachite is believed to absorb stagnant energy, encourage emotional honesty, and strengthen the courage needed for change.
Place it with intention.
Natural stones are not just décor. They become part of the energy of your space — where you place them, how you care for them, and the intention you bring to them matters.
Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, which can dull its rich green colour and natural banding.
Clean gently using a soft dry or slightly damp cloth only. Avoid salt water, harsh chemicals, ultrasonic cleaners, and abrasive materials.
Store separately in a soft pouch or lined jewellery box to protect it from scratches, as Malachite is more delicate than harder crystal stones.
Malachite works for you every day.
I release what no longer serves me and move forward with courage, clarity, and an open heart.
Not every stone
makes it to The Bhumij.
We inspect every piece for formation, colour depth, surface quality, and natural presence before it enters our collection. Stones that feel dull, overly damaged, dyed, or visually weak are rejected before they ever reach you.
